Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva

Brahmāstra marks a bold attempt at creating an Indian superhero mythology. While the visual effects are impressive by Bollywood standards, the film struggles with uneven pacing and simplistic storytelling. Ranbir Kapoor carries the film with his earnest performance, and the chemistry between him and Alia Bhatt is palpable. The film's greatest strength is its ambitious world-building, setting up what could be an exciting franchise if subsequent installments improve upon this foundation.
